The Division, in partnership with the South Carolina Irish Historical Society and the City of Charleston, is underwriting the construction of a Memorial to the Irish in Charleston and South Carolina. The memorial will be located at the foot of Charlotte Street next the Liberty Square complex. The other Divisions in the state have pledged their financial support. Photos and narrative regarding progress will be added on a frequent basis. |
